Matteo De Poli is full professor of Economic Law. For many years, together with Banking Law, he also taught Financial Markets law. He is a visiting professor in the Law School of the University of Huddersfield (GB). He carries out research in the field of banking company law, financial contracts, corporate governance and the responsibility of the corporate bodies. He is the recent author of "European Banking Law", Wolter Kluwer, 2017, one of the very few texts, at European level, of reconstruction of the EU regulation of banking.
Matteo was recognized as the best teacher at the University of Padua, ex aequo with three others, in the academic year 2017/2018, achieving the highest score (10) in each indicator.
He is a lawyer.

Meetings with students.
During the semester of teaching, Professor De Poli meets the students at the end of each lesson. a pre-announcement by mail is particularly welcome, for a better organization of meetings.
